Privacy Policy
This policy explains what happens to information when you use Calculators. It is written to be read, not to be skipped.
What you type into a calculator. The values you enter are used to compute the result and are placed in the page address so the result can be shared or reloaded. They are not written to our database, not linked to you and not used to build a profile. If you copy a result link and send it to someone, the values in that link travel with it.
What we record. We record aggregate page views: which page was opened, when, and how many times. This is used to show which calculators are actually used, so the catalog can be maintained and improved. It contains no personal data, no query string and no referrer, and it is never joined to anything that identifies you.
Cookies. A session cookie is set when you sign in to the administration area or when a form needs protection against cross-site request forgery. Visitors who only use the calculators can browse the whole site with no cookie set. Advertising and analytics cookies, where a site has them enabled, are loaded only after you accept them through the consent notice.
Advertising. If advertising is enabled, ad slots are served by a third-party network that may set its own cookies to measure and personalise advertising. Ad units are never placed inside a calculator form or next to a submit button, so an advertisement is never mistaken for part of a result.
Third parties. Fonts and scripts are loaded from this site wherever possible. Where a third-party service is used, it is named in the consent notice and its own privacy policy applies to it.
Your choices. You can decline advertising and analytics cookies and still use every calculator. You can also clear your browser storage at any time, which removes any preference you have saved on this site.
Contact. Privacy questions and requests can be sent through the contact page. We answer requests about data we hold, and in practice that means confirming that a calculator input is not stored at all.
