CPM

CPM, cost per mille, is what an advertiser pays for a thousand ad impressions. RPM and CPM describe the same thousand impressions from the two sides of the transaction, and revenue share sits between them.

A rising CPM does not automatically mean a rising RPM, because it depends on how many impressions are actually served and how the revenue is shared.
