Total compensation

Total compensation is the full value of a job: base salary, bonus, employer pension or retirement contributions, health cover, car allowance, insurance and any other benefit with a cash equivalent.

Two offers with the same salary can differ substantially once these are added, which is why comparing base salaries alone is unreliable.
